This article provides an overview of the general Move2THz motivation and objectives, and highlights the German part of the consortium, which includes: Fraunhofer IZM, Ferdinand-Braun-Institut, Leibniz-Institut fรผr Hรถchstfrequenztechnik, AIXTRON SE, University of Duisburg-Essen, Microwave Photonics, AdMOS GmbH Advanced Modeling Solutions, and Freiberger Compound Materials GmbH.
Fraunhofer EMFT is:
- German consortium coordinator & WP1 lead (โUse cases and Requirementsโ)
- Collaborating with Fraunhofer IZM & ETH Zรผrich (ft: 450 GHz / fmax: 850 GHz)
- Developing 240 GHz front-end module (FEM) components for FMCW radar: PA, LNA โ VCO, mixer next, led by Dr. Mario Lauritano (Fraunhofer EMFT Circuit Design Team)
- Supporting packaging & antenna design with Fraunhofer IZM.
